Nguyen Hưu Thuan, was born in 1956 in Hanoi , Vietnam.

Self -studied  in painting in secondary school, mainly in obiect drawing.

 In 1974 - entered Architect faculty of University construction, After that joined the army as a military truck driver. This helps the person to visit many places in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia for drawing people and landscape .

From 1975 to 1992, Thuan has been to Czech, Slovakia Poland, Austria, Germany, Russia and learn from  other painters on streets, parks, artist museums, exhibitions… for Thuan draw in the future. Thuan use to draw water colour. Now Thuan like very much to paint oil on canvas. In 1995 Thuan joined international exhibition in JAPAN. From 1996 to 2002 Thuan has solo exhibition for 6 times in Hanoi, Vietnam. In 2004 Participated international exhibition in south KOREA. In 2005 solo exhibition in Hanoi and then joined World exhibition in SEOUL. In 2006 Solo exhibition in the UNITED STATES. After that participated international exhibition in SINGAPORE. Now having paintings in Korea Culture art research Institute. In 2007 Thuan has solo exhibition in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.
